James Stokes
Co-Founder and Joint Managing Director
My journey in the industry mirrors my wife’s, both beginning in 2006 when we launched our first business. Together, we grew it step by step until selling it in 2012. Running that business gave us invaluable insight into the world of coach and minibus hire, which proved essential when starting Coach Hire Comparison a few years before the sale in 2010. Being a joint managing director with Laura is incredibly rewarding, as we work side by side to achieve our business dreams while staying true to our family-first values. Partnering with CMAC in 2023 was a major milestone, propelling us toward our goals with the support of a leading industry partner.
As we move forward, we remain committed to our loyal coach and minibus operators across the UK and will continue to uphold that dedication for years to come. As Laura highlighted, family values are at the heart of our business, shaping everything we do - from our daily operations to the content we create. We aim to share valuable insights about the travel industry, with the hope that visitors to our site and users of our services see us as their friendly and reliable coach or minibus hire provider.
