Best Travel Blogs

Planning a trip can be tricky. Deciding where to go, when to go and how long to go for can have you going round in circles. That’s where travel bloggers come in.

Individuals, couples, families and groups with unlimited wanderlust spend their days flying, sailing and road-tripping around the globe, helping the rest of us find the best places to visit.

So with that said, here are some of our favourite travel bloggers we believe that you should be following this year.

The Roaming Renegades

Roaming Renegades

@the_roaming_renegades

Nic and Paul, the adventurous duo behind The Roaming Renegades, have spent over a decade travelling the world, embracing offbeat adventures and budget backpacking. Childhood sweethearts turned lifelong explorers, they traded the conventional path for a life of freedom, discovering hidden gems, scaling mountains, and chasing rock bands across Europe. Their blog, born from a passion for travel and rebellion against the ordinary, shares expert tips, destination guides, and insights on how to travel the world on a budget. With a love for adventure and a touch of mischief, they prove that growing up is optional—exploring, however, is not.

The Ginger Wanderlust

Ginger Wanderlust

@thegingerwanderlust

Ellie, aka The Ginger Wanderlust, is a freelance photographer and travel blogger with a passion for exploring the world. Half French, half Welsh, she grew up in Bath, England, and has spent years travelling across Southeast Asia, living in Australia, and has been nomadic for the last 4.5 years. She started her blog in 2017 and has been to over 50 countries. Through her blog, she shares expert travel tips, itineraries, and photography advice to help fellow adventurers plan unforgettable trips and capture stunning memories along the way.

Roaming Required

Roma

@RoamingRequired

Aussie couple Roma and Russell are on a mission to explore as much of the world as possible. Now London-based, they spend their time taking weekend road trips across the UK or short European breaks straight from their doorstep. You could say that they’re the short break experts.

Their round-up of some of the best day trips you can take from Manchester is well worth a read, though if you’re a foodie after a new experience, a trip to Nuremberg might be on the cards.

Emily Luxton

Emily Luxton

@em_luxton

UK-based Emily has travelled to over 60 countries in just over a decade, and isn’t short of tips for solo travellers. If you’re looking to get out of our comfort zone, try new foods and experience new things, Emily’s blog can help you do just that.

Her passion is overland travel, so for those keen on sustainable travel or those who prefer to be on wheels rather than in the sky (we know we do), then she’s the travel expert to help you do just that. Our particular favourites from Emily’s blog include her breakdown of some of the best national parks in Spain for outdoor adventures, and ‘bikes and wine in Mendoza’, because, well, bikes and wine in Mendoza.

Dan Flying Solo

Dan Flying Solo

@danflyingsolo

Dan’s another Brit, though now he resides in the sunnier climes of Portugal. He’s travelled to remote Atlantic islands full of penguins, and bustling metropolitan cities with stunning architecture. It’s safe to say that whatever type of travel you’re considering, Dan has probably done it and can offer some sound advice.

We love his guide to ‘16 underrated cities in Europe you should visit’ (we particularly appreciate the nod to one of the greatest cities in the world…Manchester!) and his 49 reasons to visit Indonesia. Though we reckon there’s at least 50!

Vicky Flip Flop

Vicky Flip Flop

@vickyflipflop

She’s travelled central America solo, spent weeks in wintry Japan, ventured through Zambia, travelled Nepal, and has cycled from north to south in Vietnam. It’s safe to say that Vicky is well primed to give some of the best travel advice you can find on the world wide web.

Whether festivals are more your thing (she’s been to plenty), or you’re looking for some top tips for travelling the UK, this blog is the right place for you. In fact, Vicky has even found 55 unique world festivals so you don’t have to. We also quite fancy her Glasgow to Loch Lomond road trip. On a coach, of course.

An Adventurous World

An Adventurous World

@anadventurousworld

Macca has been a traveller since he was small, thanks to his adventurous parents who opened his eyes to the world from a young age. He’s been bitten by a crocodile in Gambia, has spent months scooting around Thailand, travelled from Eastern Europe to Ecuador and so much more.

If you’re looking for some advice, information or inspiration on where to go around the world, Macca can help. For food recommendations in Athens or where to go ziplining in Argentina, check out An Adventurous World, you won’t regret it.

Hey! Dip Your Toes In

Eulanda & Omo

@dipyourtoesin

This dynamic duo calls the UK, the US, and Nigeria ‘home’ but has explored destinations far and wide—from the spice markets of Zanzibar to the vineyards of Portugal. Eulanda & Omo may not claim to be the coolest people you’ll meet, but their blog, brand partnerships, and industry expertise tell a different story.

From immersive travel experiences to practical tips for digital storytellers, their content is packed with insights. Want to level up your videography game? @huesofdelahaye

Part-time traveller, and full-time scientist. How cool is that? Delahaye is Jamaican-born, but has lived in the UK for over two decades. Her travels have taken her across Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, and she’s become a bit of a UK travel expert.

Delahaye’s blog isn’t just about where she’s been; it’s about showing you how to travel smartly. Now a London local, check out everything there is to know about the English capital, or if you’re feeling a trip a little further afield, check out some of the most unique things you can do in Jamaica.

@pommietravels

A Mancunian living in New York who has travelled to over 60 countries across the globe. That’s Victoria. Pommie Travels is a fantastic resource for travellers looking for destination guides and epic itineraries - all without needing to lift a finger.

The Silver Nomad

The Silver Nomad

@thesilvernomadblog

The Silver Nomad - also known as Larch, spends her time showing the world that finding new places, learning new languages or trying new cuisine is still very possible (and encouraged) once you are over 50.

For those looking for some UK inspiration, check out Larch’s best cities to visit with a map, otherwise, we highly recommend her guide to visiting Sri Lanka.

The Jenna Way

The Jenna Way

@thejennaway

Born and raised in Scotland, Jenna’s content exists to help fellow LGBTQ+ travellers find inclusive and safe experiences across the globe. Having covered 5 continents and almost 40 countries, Jenna has shared her years of knowledge with the world via her blog.

If you’re up for sticking on this great isle, and are a bit of a Potter fan (at this point, who isn’t), then Jenna’s self-guided Harry Potter tour of Edinburgh is quite the winner. If it’s sunnier climes you’re chasing, here’s how to spend 48 hours in Mexico City.

If this blog has set your wanderlust off, it might be time to start planning your next trip. Whether you’re heading to the airport, or planning the road trip of a lifetime, coach and minibus hire is a sustainable and easy way to make your travel dreams become a reality.
